How does usage-based pricing work?

Each plan includes a set amount of Ingest, Storage, Compute, and Delivery. If you exceed these amounts, you pay only for what you use at your tier's rate. For example, on Pro, extra ingest costs £0.80 per million events.

What counts as Ingest?

Ingest is any data you send to CanDecide - log events, analytics tracks, metric datapoints, user identifies, webhook receives, and third-party imports. Each event counts as one ingest unit.

What counts as Delivery?

Delivery is any data you read from CanDecide - feature flag evaluations, remote config fetches, dashboard queries, API reads, and data exports. Flag evaluations are the most common.

What counts as Compute?

Compute is processing work - AI summaries, anomaly detection, alert evaluations, automation runs, and report generation. Most users don't hit compute limits unless using AI features heavily.

How does data retention work?

Raw data (full detail) is kept for your plan's retention period (7 days to 1 year). After that, data is automatically aggregated into summaries - so you can always see historical trends forever.

What happens if I exceed my included usage?

We'll notify you as you approach limits. Overage is charged at your tier's per-unit rate at the end of the billing cycle. We never drop your data without warning.
